Better to give than to receive!

Finally, after days of fearing separation anxiety, I decided to get rid of the biggest appliance I have - My 7-cubic ft GE refrigerator (of course with the permission of the original owner, my mom).

I really love it, but it's already 10+ years old, not worth renting a lipat-bahay truck for my transfer this January, when everything else can fit in a van. I think too that a new, smaller, no-frost refrigerator would me more practical for my lifestyle.

It's still performing well, so I first tried to sell it. None seemed to be interested, which isn't really surprising - I myself wouldn't buy an old refrigerator! So last week, I decided to give it away. Mommy (my officemate) suggested to give it as a raffle prize for the messenger, drivers and guards in the office WHO NEED ONE.

And so we did... One of the drivers, Bobby, got it! and he's really happy! And I'm very happy too, this feels much better than selling it to someone who can easily afford a new one. :)
