on back pain, and work

I went to a rehab med, as suggested by my ortho. after seeing my xray film she said my scoliosis isn't that bad, and that it's not really the scoliosis that causes the back pain. it is A FACTOR, but what really causes the pain is my job --the whole day bad posture (chair's not ergonomic, monitor's not eye-level, typing position's not right, etc etc). adding them up strains my lower back muscles, which by the way should be compensated by REGULAR EXERCISE. take note, EXERCISE. ouch!

looking back at my lifestyle ever since I moved to AC corp, the back pain made so much sense 1) from 8 hrs, I shifted to 9 hours work per day. 2) since work demanded so much time, I quit gym 3) and since my projs now require longer time for analyzing, I skipped afternoon snack time, which should have been my only rest time from all day sitting position. see how work ruins life?! haha

so anyway. I skipped morning work for my physical therapy as suggested by my ortho and rehab med. I loved it, I wished I could stay there the whole day! but not when I had to learn my home exercises... I'm so lazy when it comes to exercises (ever since I quit gym) but then again I really should keep this going, or I'll end up spending bucks once again for my back pain. right?!

IT colleagues, learn from me ok :)
