...now at the late 20s, definitely. Wala nang tawad!

(Sorry, it took me 1 week to post this!)

I had a very awesome birthday! On the eve: Lou treated me and his college friends Ian and Rica to Yakimix. It was more of a get together actually, planned long time ago. Finally, Lou had it scheduled. NEAR MY BIRTHDAY, "para isahan nalang" -- how clever. haha! The food was really good (or I was really hungry. I didn't eat after breakfast! haha!), buffet was filled with mostly oriental foods, as far as I can remember. What I loved is their wide selection of sushis, and raw meats to be grilled on your table. My fave: salmon belly and asparagus wrapped in bacon!





I can't remember how many slices of bacon I had. nor how many times the waiters had to refill the bacon strips served on their buffet table. we were bacon monsters that night! haha! That dinner was really great. I remember an fb friend who posted on his wall: "What's so good about Yakimix, you pay to grill your own food." think about it, we're talking about UNLIMITED bacon here! and salmon, and shrimps, and scallops, and makis, and sashimis, and cheesecakes by the way, AND MORE! ONLY FOR P580!

At 10pm (after 3 hours of eating bacon ...goodness!), we went to Gweilos to meet up my college friends this time (plus a couple of SE friends). Gweilos sucked a bit - almost everything I wanted to order wasn't available and their service's really slow. But it was overwritten by the cheap beer, good sardines pizza (can't believe my tummy still had space for this!), and the fact that my friends are there with me, to celebrate the first hours of my 27th year!!!

The rest of the day was a ME day, as always. No work. Gym. Foot spa. and all that. So lovely! And you know what's even more awesome?? Lou's gift - which was one of the hardest things he could ever do - He lent me his PSP the entire day!!! hahahaha!!!

And the best, saved for last - At night, I watched Symphony of Parols with my family, at the Ayala Triangle Gardens. It was amazing, I was impressed! (I think this is the first time I attended a Christmas event for my birthday!) Then we had dinner at Som's (Rockwell area) because all restos in the triangle were jampacked! It was a blessing in disguise though, because finally I was able to try this thai resto which my sister has been telling me. I loved their Tom Yam soup, and milk tea!!! Stupid me forgot to take a picture of us family at Som's. Oh well. hehe!

So... this is it? I'm already 27?! I've always looked up to 27 year old "women", ateng ate ...yet I still don't see myself as one. With my lifestyle and preferences now, I still feel like I'm a "girl"! heehee!
