I ran to Mckinley hill for lunch, to join my former PM's despedida. It was really great to see my CAI friends, and the old faces I left 3 years ago. One thing I realized: Going back there used to be a senti journey, I'd revisit the familiar cubes, recalling my happy days in my first job. But now, now that they've moved from Ayala to McKinley, it's nothing but a lunchout.
I can now barely recall how I worked there, how each officemate worked with me, how my work routines were, or even how the office smelled. I can just remember the faces. And I don't know how or when exactly I started moving on. Time just flew, I didn't notice.
I guess, generally, that's how you let go. :)
