I'm not really into this type of activity, plus I'm a "suwa-il" when it comes to SE stuff, so it's quite a surprise that I attended this one. But I realize, it's no surprise when I've been doing my best to be a YES girl for the past N weeks now :) hehe.
It was held last Sat at Nature Discovery Camp, Tagaytay. It's an amazing race, supposedly — an annual fellowship thing for St. James Singles Apostolate, but with its style this year, yep it's more of a Takeshi's Castle, as how it sounds. and it was fun!
The funniest game: we had to dip our lotion-filled faces in a basin full of cotton balls, powder and hair (eeow!), then run to the other end to deliver as much cottons as we can. Good news, the hair actually came from a wig. hehehe. Most stressful game: we had to protect our balloons (colored green, as I was in the green team) scattered all over the place, while opponents find ways to prick them. really violent. haha! my hatest: buko pie eating contest!!!
I decided to skip the night-out that usually follows a fellowship. Yeah I went home early, but I felt tired, soiled and very very very full (dunno when I can eat buko pie again!).
Not bad for a saturday. :)
